    Cool, I'm adding no. 4 to my list, it evokes some nice memories. I've lived in Stockholm for two years (and I did manage to learn Swedish, lol) and traveled around a bit.

    Here's another nice one: an Amercian geologist and writer living in Greece (I know her from a writer's forum) - http://godquake.blogspot.com/

    Thanks for the links, Gabriele. My German is terribly rusty, so I for one appreciate the English. :)

    Over the years I've met countless writers, artists and photographers who are either living in Sweden or are native to Sweden or neighboring countries. I think it must be something in the water, Mikaela.

    Iain, I suspect I'm going to spend way too much time loitering over at your blog. Aside from the amazing photos you're posting, your notes about them (like here) are fascinating.
