Reconstruct

Before anyone e-mails or comments:

Yes, I am revamping the sidebar weblog links list.
No, there's no agenda.
Yes, I'm doing it for my own amusement.
No, it's not done yet.
Yes, there are new folks all over it. Check them out.
No, you don't get to pick your song header.
Especially if your name is James or Stuart.
Yes, I should have done this a long time ago.
No, it's not a big deal.

See? Practically painless.

  2. Cool idea. In case my Blogs I Read list will ever grow that big (and if I keep adding them like it do it will) I'll sort them, too. :)

  3. Which version of "Tough Enough" are you referring to? I found two or three possibilities on Google.

Jean -- the version recorded by The Fabulous Thunderbirds, although I didn't spell it incorrectly. One of my favorite road songs of all time. :)

  6. Hmm... Interesting choice, and I like Peter Gabriel.

But some ideas I would have had...

"Break Like the Wind," Spinal Tap
"Fool on the Hill," The Beatles*
    "Not Now, John," Pink Floyd
    "2x4," Metallica
"Any Fule Kno That," Deep Purple
"Stuck in the Middle," Bob Dylan
"21st Century Schizoid Man," King Crimson

    Just my $.02

*Well I do live on a hill.

  9. Mozart, Peter Gabriel and - above all - Thomas Dolby. Great taste!
(Check out Dolby's 'Retrospectacle' for some fantastic tracks to write by.)

  12. "The Love Shack is a little old place where we can get together.
Love Shack baby..." I ADORE this song and the B52s! Always makes me smile. Can you fix me up with Kate and Cindy's hair stylist? I want one of those funky bee-hivey hair-dos!

PBW, I was shocked and flattered to see my name/blog listed in the sidebar. I don't know what to say except, thank you, and I applaud your musical choices!

  13. Thanks for adding me! Love my song - except I can't stop singing it now...

If you see a faded sign by the side of the road that says
15 miles to the... Love Shack! Love Shack yeah
I'm headin' down the Atlanta highway,
    lookin' for the love getaway

    (told you *g*)
