Winners

From Kat: I never thought I would get so many comments for my giveaway, so thanks everybody for sending me all the great titles!

From Kat's mom: I'd also like to thank you guys for joining in and recommending so many books for Kat's giveaway. She's made a long list for the next time we hit the book store and I expect we'll empty out at least half the YA section.

Kat got the honors of working the magic hat tonight, and the winners of the giveaway are:

Karen Mahoney, who recommended Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr

cas2ajs, who recommended Mari Mancusi's Coven series

Sam, who recommended Therese Raquin by Emile Zola, The Secret of Shabaz by Jennifer Macaire, and The Saddle Club.

Winners, please e-mail your full name and ship-to address to LynnViehl@aol.com so I can get these books out to you (to do my part, I will definitely be buying the books recommended by the giveaway winners, and plan to read them along with Kat.) Thanks again to everyone for making my daughter's very first blog post such a wonderful experience for her.

  5. Kat, thank you so much!
My daughter is looking forward to reading Twilight, and I'm grateful for the chance for her to win a new book!
Let me know if you read The Secret of Shabaz and if you liked it. I loved writing it, and it really is my daughter's favorite story!

    Hi Kat!

I'm excited to see that someone recommended (and the hat picked!) my Blood Coven series. (Boys that Bite, Stake That, Girls that Growl) I hope you enjoy the books! :)

Oh and I second that Wicked Lovely is amazing. As is its sequel, Ink Exchange. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

    Mari
