Artfully Ten

Ten Things for the Art Blog Lovers

1. Art Tea Life blog offers mixed media art, experiments and many great links.

2. Lisa Hoffman's blog features her very creative work as well as posts about other artists and art resources.

3. Nothing to do the day before TGIF? Check out the weekly create segment over at Inspire Me Thursday.

4. Anahata Katkin's blog has art, great links and woo-woo, too.

5. Even dollmakers have blogs -- stop in and see Nicol Sayre's.

6. Stamp artists can pick up a new challenge every Wednesday at Wednesday Stamper/Mittwochstempler.

7. Posy is written by an English teacher and homemaker who sews, treasure hunts, crochets, gardens and re-paints the furniture. She posts wonderful photos, too.

8. I gained at least five pounds while wandering around Alicia Paulson's Posie Gets Cozy.

9. Artist Patti Van Dorin features other guest artists on her blog, River Bend Ranch.

10. Author, illustrator and guerilla artist Keri Smith, who created one of the journals I gave away during the virtual workshops, has a blog: The Wish Jar.

All of the above links found in the premiere issue of Artful Blogging magazine.

Upcoming this week on PBW:

Nothing planned for once, as I feel a tsunami surge of parody, satire and surprises coming on. Stay tuned.

  1. Oy, another magazine for me to love! Posy is fantastic. Drool. Weird how I love the same bright floral kind of stuff, but I write dark.

    Hello PBW,
Did you do the August Biz Post? I clicked back and didn't see it, but I do like those. Also, how far back to you go to read comments, or do you get some sort of update when we post? (I don't blog and don't know how they're set up.) I commented on the Fri20 question, but not until Sunday night, and wondered if it was too late.

Welcome! To be honest I don't have a counter or anything like that here so I never know how many folks visit. That's so I can pretend it's just twenty or so.

I have had a storm of hits from this site today !

I'm glad to hear it. My visitors are as curious as cats, and many are artists as well as writers. You have a lot of very neat things over at Art Tea Life.

Not as of yet. I had it in the queue when the Dragon crashed last week and in the process ate it. I have to recreate the post from my notes, but it shouldn't take long -- I'll probably post it next week.

Also, how far back to you go to read comments, or do you get some sort of update when we post?

All of the comments are e-mailed to me; since I took them off moderation I've had a few people complain that some got eaten up by Blogger.

I commented on the Fri20 question, but not until Sunday night, and wondered if it was too late.

I do read everyone's comments, no matter when you post them (have to in order to bonsai the SPAMmers and trolls.) For Friday 20 questions, you have until midnight EST on Friday to post them. This week the Friday 20 was more an opinion-gathering post.
