  1. I have Q10 and I definitely recommend it. It blocks out all distractions, you can set time limits and/or word count goals, and you can change the colors of text and the background.

    I haven't heard of the others, though.

  2. First, I love free stuff. I'm looking at the day planner. I thought being at home would free up all my time and I could get everything done, finally. HA. I need a schedule now more than when I didn't have any time.

    Second, I'm absolutely honored about having inspired a thought for a month.

    this is a great little word processing app/full screen text notepad thingy. You can also get this to run from a USB drive as I recall. I managed this with the portableapps.com suite....might even be part of the application download...can't recall...
    Anyway, try it. But remember, word processing software alone does not a writer make!
