What little I've read of the Almond article sounds like mindless pap to me.But then I've pretty much stayed out of it.

That was wonderful and terrifying. Honestly, I felt like a transfixed bystander, fascinated by the gory aftermath of a seven car highspeed pile-up.Shamefully thrilling.X
It would perhaps attain riveting status were either of the actors known outside of their own circles.
Brilliant and I think I'm going to hire myself a nemesis. What a great way to get your name out there! I did like the little self-jabs Almond added. They made it worth reading.
