Rather than let it sit here and gather dust I thought I'd do another drawing for it (if I ever hear from the original winner I'll send a signed first edition as a replacement.) Cece Meng's I WILL NOT READ THIS BOOK!, a humorous cliffhanger in which a kid determined NOT to read a book has one misadventure after another until coming to the climactic moment where circumstances compel a change of heart. I saw a preview of the illustrations by a very well known artist, and the book is beautiful.
I'm dying to get Last Sacrifice a little under 2 weeks. I'm excited. This book looks good I like the cover!

There are so many. Frostfire is definitely at the top of the list, as is the second edition in the Mark Twain autobiography set. I bought the first on a whim and have ended up buying multiple copies to give as holiday presents. He was an absoultely fascinating man.
I have two reward books waiting for Wednesday: JD Robb's Indulgence in Death and Tanya Huff's Truth of Valor.
I may even get to then on Tuesday afternoon.
Well, aside from Frostfire, I am also waiting for River Marked by Patricia Briggs. I have to say I hate the waiting!

Richelle Mead's Last Sacrifice (the last novel in her Vampire Academy series) tops my list. I am also looking forward to Jim Butcher's Ghost Story (the next installment of the Dresden Files) but I have to wait until April for that one. Damn cliffhangers. . .

"The Captal's Tower" by Melanie Rawn. I've been waiting for I don't know how many years for it to be released. The second book in the Exiles Trilogy was released back in 1997, so a whole lot of her fans have been waiting 13 years for it to arrive. :p I'm fortunately not one of them, or I'd be (even more) insane by now. :p

Apart from Frostfire I am looking forward to the new Jean Johnson book Finding Destiny. A collection of four novellas, set in the same universe as her Sons of Destiny novels, which is out in the New Year.

Hmmm...besides Frostfire's release, I'm looking forward to reading an old book for the first time. Every time I see Silver Bullet, I tell myself I need to buy the book.
I finally bought the book: Cycle of the Werewolf by Stephen King on which the movie is based.

Well, Faith Hunter's book Mercy Blade is coming out on jan 5th, Jenna Black's Shadowspell, Jess Haine's Taken by the Others, Secrets of the Demon by Diana Rowland and then later that month, Archangel's Consort by Nalini Singh, Rivermarked by Patricia Briggs. I'm really looking forward to all of those books

I am in an upcoming release void right now, as all the most interesting Icelandic books get published in Sept-Oct in time for the Christmas season, but one I am anticipating for next year is the next Terry Pratchett book, which has the working title of Snuff.

Well, I have been waiting for Frostfire since I first saw it's release date. But, I am also eagerly awaiting Karen Marie Moning's conclusion to her Fever Series, Shadow Fever. I love that she, like you, actually concludes a series! Although this series is loosely related to the same world as her Highlander Series, it is definitely it's own series very much like your Darkyn series is related to your Kyndred series. I hope I win the ARC, but if not, that's okay because it's not long to wait!

Not only is this a great opportunity to win an ARC of Frostfire, but now I've got an infusion for my list of recommendations to try - thanks so much. I am (of course)awaiting Frostfire, as well as the new Mercy Thompson, Nicole Peeler's next installment, and the anthology 'Songs of Love & Death'. The latter may be out already, but I must wait until I get it as a gift since it's a big 'ol honking hardback (Fun Fact: "hardback" is book-speak for Expensive).

I'm very selective about the books that I buy new (since I don't have unlimited funds), but one 2011 release I'm eagerly anticipating is Patricia Briggs's River Marked. The Mercy Thompson and Alpha and Omega books are always on my auto-buy list for two reasons: a) Daniel Dos Santos's incredible cover art (which was what first caught my attention at the bookstore) and b)Patricia Brigg's wonderful world-building.
Incidentally, the world-building is also what got me hooked on the Darkyn and Kyndred books compared to other books from the same genre.
