Winner

You've all been very patient while I've been offline getting my surprise ready, so let me first announce the winner of the Dream Retreats giveaway:

Eugenia Tibbs

Eugenia, when you have a chance please send your ship-to info to me at LynnViehl@aol.com, and I'll get this box out to you. Be careful picking it up when it lands there, too; it's a heavy one.

Now something for everyone else out there -- yes, I still have a surprise for every single one of you, even those of you who didn't enter the giveaway:

Just click on the cover art and you'll go to the page where you can read, download, print out and/or freely distribute my first free e-book and novella of the Kyndred, Rain Lashed.

Wait! I won? WOOHOO! Thanks, Lynn, so much! Will be looking forward to this very much. Christmas in June. Something to read while I sit in the shade, sip a Fuzzy Navel and gasp in the humidity like a fish out of water. Thanks again!

  9. Yay! Thank you the new novella.

I know this is horribly, horribly greedy of me, but I've been wondering about this for a while, and since the freebie subject has come up ... what happened to Richard and Elíane's book, Chrysalis?

  11. Just finished Dreamveil.

    Fantastic book.

The only problem I had with it is that there were several places where the font was so faint in my copy that I had problems reading it.

Not something Lynn has control of, I imagine.

At the moment it is sitting in my hard drive, about 80% done. I had hoped to finish and post it last year, but I had some healthy and work issues that had to come first. Also, I had to work out something in the third Kyndred novel that directly related to Chrysalis, which meant writing that one before I finished the e-book.

I have to finish up my contract work, a new project for my new publisher, and then I can get back to Chrysalis. I promised Tami in Jacksonville the first look at it because she came up with the winning title, but if all goes well it should be ready for everyone by late summer or early fall.

  17. Thanks for the info about Chrysalis. I was a little worried you'd given up on it. Looking forward to it.
