The sweet potato vine is definitely worse for wear, but we've only been refilling the water globes about once a week to keep from disturbing the nest too much:

Judging by how quickly Stubborn Thing's twins went solo back in May, I think these will probably be the last close shots I get.

Baby birds are just so freaking cool.
Super cute! I love birds, most of the time. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are so adorable!
ReplyDeletePlant or not--I think you'll miss them. :)
Baby birds are cute. And tricky. We've got a nest in our kiwi that a baby robin jumped out of; husband put it back and parents stayed with the nest, but now we keep watching the undergrowth to make sure there isn't a bird hiding in it!
ReplyDeleteAwww. They are definitely worth one ratty plant. I'm glad you got to watch them grow and that you shared them with us. =o)
ReplyDeleteAww, they are soooo adorable! I feel like babies always tend to grow up very fast...my cousin's puppy literally grew twice his original size in just a few weeks. My red-eared slider had a growth spurt as well.
