I have been off making book, and finished the final draft of Master of Shadows, my dangerous project, like two minutes ago. Or, as my head puts it, clunk.
I love writing dangerous but holy guacamole, I am so glad that one is done.
I've also lost my voice (twice) this weekend, and it's starting to go down for a third time, so I think I'm giving myself the rest of the day off before I have to learn ASL for real.
Hope you all had a good weekend, and see you tomorrow.

Congrats on completing the dangerous project! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finishing yet another manuscript. Who, me, bitter? ;)
ReplyDeleteAnyway - ASL is really handy (ooops, bad pun, but it really is!) I just know Swedish Sign Language, but ASL is actually pretty similar, both in syntax (almost identical) and in signs/words.
Congratulations on getting your project completed!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I'm dying to know more about this project. Take care of that throat. Hot tea with lemon and honey, chica.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! High five! Rest that voice. Can't wait to hear about Project Dangerous.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I'm in the same boat, three times in two weeks with little to no voice/sore throat... I'm not sick, I don't think. We haven't taken the window AC unit out in the bedroom yet and it's DIRECTLY over my half of the bed, and drafty, so my money's on that. However, it's a good excuse to indulge in pomegranate oolong tea this morning. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear more about MoS, and I'm plugging away on my fun little book. It's not... dangerous... but it is out of my comfort zone. Which I guess IS dangerous. (It LOOKS like my usual MO on the surface, but it's not. It's DYSTOPIAN for crying out loud. Let me tell you what I really think, eh?)
