I'm experimenting on you guys today to see how well this Flickr slideshow works on a blog:
Was anyone out there unable to see the slideshow? Did it play all right for you, or did you get stuck on photo #1? Please let me know in comments.

I read your blog via RSS feed on my Google Reader. I saw it perfectly.
ReplyDeleteSame here, reading through Google Reader via Chrome
DeleteReading through google reader on Kindle didn't work at all for me. Going to website Did Work.
DeleteIt worked just fine over here in Blighty, in a very poor internet area. Very nice pictures.
ReplyDeleteIncredible images. Works great on my Mac and PC.
ReplyDeleteWorked fine in my Mac.
ReplyDeleteWorked fine for me. Each picture took about 5 seconds to load but they all showed up perfectly. Lovely pictures. :)
ReplyDeleteWorked beautifully and now I really want to go there, wherever there is. :)

Great pics! Where is this, please?
ReplyDeleteThis is Kelly (no relation to me) Park in Apopka, about an hour or so north of Orlando, Florida. I took the photos during a recent research trip. Best time of year to visit is now, before the mosquitoes and flies will become a real problem, and it's better on weekdays versus weekends. It's a big, well-maintained family-type park, with a cold but crystal-clear shallow spring water run you can swim or tube, good hiking trails, lots of picnic tables, barbecues and clean facilities. Plenty of interesting critters in the woods, too and they allow overnight camping. It costs a couple bucks to get in but it's worth it.
DeleteLynn,
ReplyDeleteThe pictures worked no problem for me. My husband grew up in Apopka (graduated from Apopka HS even) and when I told him about the park, he said he already knew about it! Of course, he hasn't taken me yet, but that is going to change soon! I also want to take him down to Bok Tower Gardens (which I have been to, but he hasn't yet). I feel a road trip soon!

No problems, one click and I was looking at your beautiful slide show. Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteWorked fine! Very nice : )
ReplyDeleteWorks fine for me! Love flickr, very useful.
ReplyDeleteOh you tease. That's a beautiful park and so far away. But yes, the slideshow worked fine. I even stayed patient enough to let it move by itself. It might not have yesterday as all sorts of things were broken, but Flash updated this morning, so I suspect that's corrected. (in IE -- Yeah I know, no groaning. I have too many windows open in FF and I'm not allowed to use it as my default until I read them all)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics! I almost missed the doe.
ReplyDeleteIt worked for me but on your main page, there was a varying hesitation in the time it took to change frames. On the main post page for this post, it was smooth. I am however, on Aurora's 13.0a2 Beta channel for Firefox so that might have something to do with it, but I thought I'd let you know.
Beautiful show. Wish I were there. Ran no problems. Too bad I live so far away in Minnesota! BUT our lakes will give this a run for its money soon.

I use Firefox, and the slideshow played without a hitch. Beautiful scenery! Thanks for sharing.
