Off to the Vet

I'm going to bail on you guys today so I can take care of this little lady here. Miss Skye is being spayed* this morning, and when we come home from the vet she'll need some attention and TLC.

I'll be back tomorrow (and this week my Wednesday NaNoWriMo post will include some fun stuff, so stop in if you get the chance.)

*Spaying and neutering our furry friends is an important part of responsible pet ownership. If you don't know why it needs to be done, visit the Humane Society's web site and read this page.

  1. Aww, poor puppy, but yes, it has to be done.

Enjoy your pet time. It'll be good for both of you.

    Lynn,
The new man in my life, Luke, is getting neutured on Friday. He is a 4 month old Harlequin Great Dane. I believe responsible pet owners spay and neuter. If you aren't a breeder, don't breed! Good luck with your girl!

  3. Good for you. You're absolutely right about being a responsible pet owner. I heard somewhere that like 75% of pets killed by vehicles are unaltered males. It's so sad and so unnecessary.

I hope everything goes well with the spaying and that she's back to normal in no time. =o)

  5. Good for you! I wish we could give some people the Bob Barker treatment. ;-)

Got the Alison Kent book, and loved it. Such a neat idea, although it did make me crave cupcakes something fierce. Thanks for doing the giveaways!
