Just Write for the Holidays

Yes, it's another edition of Just Write Thursday, the holiday edition. Since next week is Christmas and the week after that is New Year's Day, this will also be the last Just Write for 2014.

So: Today I'm off to write something new and post it online before midnight. Everyone inclined to do the same is invited to join me.

My link: After two attempts to post the updated version Club Denizen, both of which Google (or someone using Goggle) flagged as inappropriate, which may have also contributed to my Google account being shut down, I am not going to post the story again. I will try to find out why this is happening.

Hi - when I try to access the site I get this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzylBQC3SyqoRmlVQjRkMkRkdXc/view?usp=sharing

I can get to the story when I use the link from last week - but I can not see the new pages

Probably just the glitch you talked about in the other posting but I thought you should know...(plus I am very eager to read more *fangirl face*)

  2. Thanks for letting me know, Susanne -- and I think you're right; the file must have gotten caught in the shutdown glitch. I've reloaded the story, and it should work now when you click on the link.

  3. Susanne, an update -- either Google or someone using Google flagged my story as having inappropriate content for the second time, so I am deleting the file and removing the link until I can find out what the problem is.

  4. Before I give up for the night, here's one more try with the story: the link is https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzylBQC3SyqoWXpEWFdpbUFIWVk/view?usp=sharing and anyone with the link should be able to view the whole story.

  6. Lynn,
How absolutely scary to think all of your online work could disappear. I have now gone back over all of my baby pictures, but them on a thumb drive, a large external hard drive and burned them to a CD. Not to mention the pictures now reside on not only my desktop computer, but also my laptop! However, I am glad that Google took care of you in this situation. Just think how much worse it could have been if someone had really hacked into your account!
