Jamys Arrives
Today is the official release date for Nightbred, the second novel in my Lords of the Darkyn trilogy. As most of you know my published novels are my only source of income, so buying a copy is the best way to show your support for me and keep Paperback Writer funded and ad-free.
December is supposed to be the worst month in which to release a novel, but I always look at it as a better opportunity to sell. After all, lots of you will be out there shopping. For those of you who are fans of my Darkyn books, and would like to see me continue writing in this universe, now would be the time to invest in it. Also, if you enjoy the story, please let other readers know about it, as word of mouth is the best advertising in the world a writer can't buy.

Congrats on the new release, Lynn!
ReplyDeleteWishing you many sales!
(and I still LOVE the background of this cover...).
Oh you make me sob! I've got to wait until February .... sometimes living in the UK is no fun.
ReplyDeleteorder from Amazon Germany...I got my copy today.
DeleteBarnes and Noble needs to get their act together, "This item is not available until December 4." It is December 4! Thank God for Pre-Order!
ReplyDeleteMade a Facebook post about it - linking to this. I'll be ordering my copy ASAP. =o)
ReplyDeleteLynn!!! You're taking all money with your great books.... Congratulations and keep them coming. I'm buying a copy today. I'm so behind.
ReplyDeleteFolks, you have got to read this one. I got an ARC and read it for review. Started it, didn't stop until I'd finished it, then re-read it to make notes, because I'd been too carried away the first time. Still made a typo in the review though (sigh!)
ReplyDeleteI received the best email today; the subject line read "Your order of "Nightbred: Lords of the Darkyn" has shipped!" Best of luck with the book - I can't wait to read it myself.
ReplyDeleteOut of curiosity, why is December the worst time to release a book?
I just finished it. Jamys is my favorite character in the series, and his book was worth the wait! Loved it!
ReplyDeleteHappy Book Day!
ReplyDeleteMy copy--ordered by my husband-- was incentive for me to finish some editing, mail parcels and get some baking done. And I did. Can't wait to start reading.
Yeah it´s here - **fangirl shrieking and jumping up and down** Going to start reading tonight with lots of Weihnachtsplätzchen and tea.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the cover!
ReplyDeleteAnd if I don't get tapped by my organization to review, I will definitely be buying a copy. I got hooked when I reviewed Nightborn (http://freshfiction.com/review.php?id=33685)
Thanks for the next novel! I found myself squealing every page until page 4. I was too excited. I finished at 2:30am. I'll probably reread it in a month or so.
ReplyDeleteMay's coming quickly, right? /sigh I grinned at the Larissa Ione mention because I filled the gaps of your releases with hers.
wooohoooo!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. I am sooo excited to read this one. I loved Jamys and Chris from Incarnatio and it is definitely time for them
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!!!! Happy Release day!
ReplyDeletePlease say that this book is going to be published as a kindle book - I have all your books and love them but now cannot buy the paper books any more. Your books are always "keepers" and space is in short supply.
