NY Time bestselling author Bob Mayer has joined the line-up over at my group blog, Genreality, and his first post is already up.
Google has this image search thing called Image Swirl that is currently in demo stage, but looks pretty neat; evidently it's set up to operate a bit like ThinkMap's Visual Thesaurus (link swiped from The Presurfer.)
I'm going to be doing some blog renovations during the month of December, when I'll also be wrapping up my 2009 online art project, PBWindow. While I won't be posting every day after 12/31/09, I am going to keep the photoblog and post to it whenever I have something interesting or fun to share.
Anyone besides me and the kids going to see New Moon this weekend?

It'll be too scary for my kids at their age. Also they'd keep saying things like "That isn't Forks!" Which will annoy everybody in the audience. *g*
ReplyDeleteI think Bob's an awesome addition to Genreality, and I'm glad you're keeping PBWindow open for occasional use. I post to Flickr sporadically but I really like having somewhere to put an image I'm happy with.
My daugher wants me(begging me) to order tickets today for her and several friends. Yeah, I'll be with them. The things we do for our kids, eh?
ReplyDeleteI'm going to see New Moon tomorrow night with one of my friends. I got her hooked on the books and we saw Twilight together last year. Already plan on seeing any other movies made in the series together too.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to go see Twilight this weekend, but I cannot stand the prospect of sitting in a theater packed full of pre-teen and teenage girls who don't stop talking, laughing, squeeing and texting during the movie. My local theater has a showing at 11:00 tomorrow morning, but even then I'm afraid of the kids giving themselves a Twilight Holiday to go see it. If I can, I'm going to hold out until Sunday afternoon or evening because by then the crowds should have thinned a bit.
ReplyDeleteNot that it has to do with the post you've written (not even a tangent, sorry) but did you see you got a DIK at AAR? Yay, you!
ReplyDeleteI still have Twilight on my mp3 player--courtesy of my 13-year-old friend down the street--and am too cowardly to listen to it.
My sister is treating me to the movie on Friday afternoon. Looking forward to it. But I feel that I've already seen most of the film with all the featurettes and trailers.
ReplyDeleteI'm seeing the midnight show 11:59 today. Then getting up at 5:00 am to drive to Austin for a meeting. YIKES! The things we do for the things we love.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Image Swirl link. I just gave it a try and it's really cool.
ReplyDeleteI will be going to watch New Moon, but I'll wait until the first stampede is over.
LYNN!!! Congrats on Shadowlight receiving a DIK review at AAR today!
