First look at the cover for Shadowlight:

Also, just a heads-up: today is one of those rare days when Tom and I will both be out of town, so new comments will probably not post today until after 7pm EST.

  12. Wow. Seems like someone was sorry for the pink. That blue is GORGEOUS. And if this doesn't sell a ton of copies on the cover ALONE, we're all doomed.

Oooohhh. Yummy. That cover would sell me if the book weren't already an automatic buy.

Gotta ask, what's up with the ouroborus? Cool tat, or larger significance to the plot/characters?

Needless to say I can't guarantee this, I probably won't be told if things are changed, and the actual cover may vary wildly. :)

Are the men actual real persons?Sometimes they are, and sometimes they're created by the cover artist. I believe (and I could be wrong) this cover depicts a real model.

When I was researching some archaic symbols to use for something involving the backstory for the male protagonist, I discovered the ouroborus was sometimes depicted in ancient times as the classic infinity/figure-8 as well as the more common O shape. It fit with what I intended to do with the character perfectly, and had some personal significance, and worked out as a beautiful tat, so I jumped right on it.
