First look at the cover for Shadowlight:
Also, just a heads-up: today is one of those rare days when Tom and I will both be out of town, so new comments will probably not post today until after 7pm EST.

ReplyDeleteAre the men actual real persons? They all look so nice on your books. Just wondered if any photoshop was used!!!
Verra nice! Can't wait to read it. And congrats on your triumph over pink!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cover. Should really attract the attention of the reader.
ReplyDeleteOne question though. Is it available in pink?
Edie

Striking cover.

ReplyDeleteWow. Seems like someone was sorry for the pink. That blue is GORGEOUS. And if this doesn't sell a ton of copies on the cover ALONE, we're all doomed.
ReplyDeleteI like, I like a LOT
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cover!! I'm so looking forward to the Kyndred.
ReplyDeleteOh murr! That is so hot! :P Lovely colours too. But man, that bod is SO HOT!! ;-)

ReplyDeleteooh nice cover. See I could never have covers like that cus I write YA novels. sad.
ReplyDeleteOooohhh. Yummy. That cover would sell me if the book weren't already an automatic buy.
ReplyDeleteGotta ask, what's up with the ouroborus? Cool tat, or larger significance to the plot/characters?
Emeraldjaguar wrote: WIll the cover be staying blue this time round? As far as I know, yes. They are only going to foil the title and byline letters, so the colors of the art should not be altered.
ReplyDeleteNeedless to say I can't guarantee this, I probably won't be told if things are changed, and the actual cover may vary wildly. :)

ReplyDeleteAre the men actual real persons?Sometimes they are, and sometimes they're created by the cover artist. I believe (and I could be wrong) this cover depicts a real model.
Edie wrote: Is it available in pink?Bite your tongue, lady! (Note to self: do not read Edie's comments while drinking tea.)
ReplyDeleteLainey wrote: And I have to wait how long to have this book in my hands??November. But as soon as I get in some ARCs (this is assuming I will) I'll have a giveaway.
ReplyDeleteNicole wrote: Gotta ask, what's up with the ouroborus? Cool tat, or larger significance to the plot/characters?Both. When I was researching some archaic symbols to use for something involving the backstory for the male protagonist, I discovered the ouroborus was sometimes depicted in ancient times as the classic infinity/figure-8 as well as the more common O shape. It fit with what I intended to do with the character perfectly, and had some personal significance, and worked out as a beautiful tat, so I jumped right on it.
ReplyDeleteSorry my comments are running together again, folks. And thanks for all the kind words -- I really appreciate it.
