Congrats ladies!
ReplyDeleteWhat organizations are set up to ship books overseas to U.S. servicemen and women in Iraq and Afghanistan? I couldn't find anything online, but maybe I wasn't looking in the right place.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to find a good organization that has a solid system in place, so that books I send don't end up getting lost in the shuffle.
Any suggestions for this?
Jeff
Jeff,
ReplyDeleteI send packages of books overseas via family members and friends who are currently serving, as they can distribute them for me, but one public site that I know of is Books for Soldiers. They are run by a non-profit non-denominational interfaith ministry that is registered with the state of North Carolina.
Thank you!!! :) Also I just finished reading the stories in Ravelin and loved it; Red Branch is the favorite though. Your world building is awe-inspiring, and how you lay it out just, gah. Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, winners!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners. Enjoy.

ReplyDeleteI also send books through service members and families.
Congrats to the winners, thanks again to PBW for all this Christmas hospitality, and a dangly for the hat.
