I went on Barnes&Nobles to pre-order my book, and the book image they show is the original cover art, not the new PINK version. Does that mean there's been a switch?

I have only ever seen one edition of my books from SFBC, which was Blade Dancer, so I really don't know how they handle my Darkyn cover art. I believe they bought the rights to Twilight Fall, but I don't remember if they also put in a bid for STN (I'm just a wealth of info here.)
Generally book clubs don't do fancy jackets or foiling so it's probably a good bet that if they do purchase the rights that they'll use the original cover art.

No. All of the bookseller sites are still using the same cover art I was shown -- evidently the new/final edition was not sent out or I think they would have scanned it. Sorry about that, Jennifer -- you should see an image of the product you're going to receive, which is not the one currently shown on BN.com.
Lynn, The SFBC does have STN on their website. I have it pre-ordered. I love your books so much that after ruining the first two paperback Darkyn novels (I re-read them so much) I started getting them hardback. If I love an author, I will invest that money on a good series 'cuz I will read them again and again! Tami Jacksonville
LOL!!! Okay that got a huge laugh out of me in the middle of the night!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the pink issue *WEG*
Looking forward to seeing what you have planned.
*hugs*
I'm just mad the whole "pink" issue is even an issue. What a way to mess up some beautiful cover art.
ReplyDeleteGood luck though. (=
You go gettum!!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck!

This is hilarious.
ReplyDeleteNormally I don't like vampires but I think I'll buy this book - just to see if it glows in the dark. :-)
