Handmade

If there is one art I will forever envy, it's the ancient craft of pottery. Here's a short film on the process featuring Swedish artist Karin Eriksson in her studio (with background music, for those of you at work):

    When I was at university it was my very favorite class. I took it for three years! I was never quite as proficient as my peers, but it was a great way to relieve stress. It just makes you feel good.

    I am a teaching assistant, and the last class of my day is ceramics. I love it! I'm working with a great teacher whose encouraged me to work alongside my student. I hope to be able to throw at some point, and I'd love to take a class for myself someday.
