Elsewhere Spilling Secrets

Today I'm over at Under the Covers book blog revealing for the first time a look at my glamorous life as an author and all the delights that I enjoyed on the release day for Nightborn last week. Stop in if you have a chance and you may win a signed copy of the novel along with this lovely tote and some other goodies.

  1. Hey Lynn,
I hope you are feeling better. Your week has been awful. But if it makes you feel better, my group on goodreads voted Nightborn the March book of the month, so I read it. I posted it on amazon as well.

Is John Keller going to have his very own book in this trilogy? I don't see how Korvel gets a book but not John?

    1. Thanks, Chinyere. I appreciate the support.

The bad news about John Keller getting his own book is I've already pitched that idea and it was shot down by my former editor, who felt he was too controversial a character to make a marketable protaginist. The good news is I have a new editor, and if this Darkyn trilogy does very well I'll be in a better bargaining position on what I can write for future novels. And if that doesn't happen, I can always write John's book and give it away as a freebie.

  2. I am sorry to say this Lynn, but sometimes all editors & publishers look at are raw numbers. They do not seek to preserve the integrity of the story. I have been waiting to find out what happened to John since...FOREVER.
John Keller is compelling than KORVEL, Mr. seduce-you-in-your-dreams.
while i really enjoyed the book, Alex needs to spend time with her older brother. There was a lot going on with that ex-priest.

Perhaps I need to call your new editor because she needs to know that Darkyn fans NEED to hear John's story.

Oh, you are my hero. you have been putting forth great effort despite all the issues that arose in your life. I hope everything is smooth sailing from here.
