It seems the Publishing Fairy is in town for the holidays, and she just called to say she's going to stop by Casa PBW tonight to deliver some early copies of this:
Since I have no more room under the tree, I thought you all might be nice enough to take them off my hands. So if you're interested in helping out, in comments to this post make a holiday wish (or if you're wish-undecided, just toss your name in the hat) by midnight EST tonight, December 24, 2010. I will draw five names at random from everyone who participates, and send the winners a signed copy of Frostfire by Lynn Viehl. This giveaway is open to everyone on the planet, even if you've won something here at PBW in the past.

I wish for a real sunshiney, warm California Christmas! I came down from Alaska to torrential rain and damp cold. Somebody messed up my order.
ReplyDeleteI wish for all those travelling this season to arrive safely... and chocolate. I wish for chocolate, too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic gift offer!=)
ReplyDeleteMy holiday wish is simple. I want to borrow one of Santa's elves to help me wrap up my last minute gifts.
Unwrapping is so much better then wrapping.
Happy Holiday wishes to you and everyone else.
@ Jessica- lol. Here is Hawaii has been pretty wet the past several days. Where's my sun?
@ Jaye- Yes, travel safely everyone. Whether arriving or departing be safe. And, yes, chocolate would be a sweet and welcomed treat=)

I wish for a relaxed and fun Christmas!
ReplyDeleteIve never entered before so Im not sure if Im doing it correctly, but our tree is looking a little lean this year and I would sure love to read this book! Other gifts? Well, I think all I want is a shiny new agent giving me a call this year!
ReplyDeleteI wish for my brother to come home for Christmas!
ReplyDeletePlease don't enter me, as I'm getting a review copy and don't want to be selfish. I just wanted to stop by and wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, or good weekend, depending on your celebration of choice.
ReplyDeleteI wish for Spanx!

ReplyDeleteI wish for a nausea-free holiday!
ReplyDeleteUm... ME ME ME ME ME ME ME! uh...sorry. Got carried away.
ReplyDeleteMy wish? It's not overly holiday-ish, but hey, we're lucky-jobs, healthy, family is all together. So, hmmm. Well, a project that I thought wasn't going to get interest actually caught a nibble the other day.
I want that nibble to turn into a full-fledged chomp so I can get an exciting, "SHILOH, THEY WANT IT, WHEN CAN YOU BE DONE!" call from my agent in about ten days...
I would love some new book recommendations for Chanukah/Christmas. And of course a copy of Frostfire woul be amazing :)
ReplyDeleteHope everyone has a great holiday!
One comment didn't want to post automatically, so I'm adding it manually:

holiday wish is to have time to finish reading Les Miserables, and start writing again!
My holiday wish is that my three agented-but-not-yet-published writing friends get the book deals they so thoroughly deserve in 2011.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win, and I wish you happy holidays! :)
Warm wishes,
Karen
I wish that I would be able to have a turkey dinner on Christmas. I will be visiting in-laws and so far no one has invited us for turkey dinner. :(
ReplyDeleteI wish for a relaxing, semi-tearless Christmas with my family as it is our first without parental supervision. A nice shiny copy of Frostfire would be a wonderful prezzie. :)
ReplyDeleteThe first actual christmas I've had off for along time, not sure what to wish. Lots of snow? Well stocked homeless shelters to deal with the snow? Being a child was easier.
ReplyDeletesnow, a rise in environmental consciousness, and a new graphics card.
ReplyDeleteWish-challenged, here. Just tossing my name in.
ReplyDeleteAll I want for Christmas is my partial to turn into a full request and lead to landing an agent.
ReplyDeleteOh, and world peace.
I wish for a friendly, compassionate alien being/time-travelling human to pop open a portal in front of me and offer to transplant my brain/consciousness into a spiffy new robot body. free of charge, no strings attached, of course!
ReplyDeletethink of all the things I could do if I didn't have to spend time eating & sleeping!
I wish for true love, a white Christmas, and a clean house. Oh well, the 2 out of 3 that I'll have isn't bad!!
ReplyDeleteMy holiday wish: that I can eat Christmas dinner.
ReplyDeleteThere's been some serious flooding about half an hour up river from where I am so I'm wishing for the weather to stay sunny and mild so the clean-up can continue.
ReplyDeleteThat I could have more time with my family during the Holidays.

I wish for safe travels this holiday season. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteI'm just wishing next year will be better than last year - for all of us.
ReplyDeleteAnd, of course, I'm wishing for a new book. ;-)
My wishes and prays go out to all the UK and US servicemen and their families that they have a Happy Christmas.
ReplyDeleteOn a my own behalf I wish that the new washing machine gets delivered soon rather than later(old one died on Wednesday).
Plus that over Christmas no matter how much you eat chocolate doesn't make you fat - HaHa
And books are alway it there somewhere
Lastly - Wishing you all a Joyous Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year
My holiday wish is for my kids to have a wonderful christmas, and for everyone to be healthy and happy. Pretty ordinary, but its what's important to me
ReplyDeleteI was going to wish for a white Christmas, but we got a nice blanket of snow last night. So my wish is for safe travel for my family as they come and go from my house.
ReplyDeleteMy holiday wish is that my dog, Trouble gets better. She's a 13 yr-old greyhound, who up until recently was still racing her heart out (even if it was only against slow-poke me). Within the past month she's developed severe arthritis and can barely walk. A few days ago she was in so much pain she could barely move. She's on a new medicin now, but since she's sensitive to medicine it's hard to keep her on anything long-term. I hope & pray that one will work and she'll be able to walk without her legs collapsing. She's a sweet dog & tougher than me!
ReplyDeleteMy wish would be for a new bookcase, because my old ones are overfilled.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
My holiday wish is for my dad. Ages ago while he was in the army he broke his leg; it wasn't splinted correctly and his ankle was allowed to heal bone-on-bone. He's lived with a constant pain and limp until this year when he had a surgery to fuse the bones and replace a large amount of bone with metal rods, pins and grafted bone. It's been a painful process, but we're hoping that when it's all said and done he will once again be able to ride horses, team rope and mess with his cattle without the use of pain killers or braces. I want him to have a happy, pain free Christmas for the first time in years.
ReplyDeleteI wish for a friend and co-worker to get past his current health issues to be able to enjoy life again.
ReplyDeleteI wish happiness and joy to everyone for the holiday season and beyond!
ReplyDeleteI wish for book store gift cards. If that's not possible, I'm throwing my name into the hat.

ReplyDeleteI wish for happiness for everyone I love.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome!
Cheers,
Erin Kendall
I wish I could visit my older sister and niece, and my best friend and her daughter. They live in New Mexico and I live in Wisconsin. I also wish all my debt would go away, not surprising. I have enjoyed everything you've written and would love to add this to that collection.

I wish my gingerbread house would last long enough for me to take pictures before everyone digs in and that my last minute internet presents arrive in time (fingers crossed). Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI wish my mom would move close enough for me to see her regularly again (3000 miles away is just too dang far).
ReplyDeleteI should probably say "peace on earth", right? ::shrugs::: I miss my mom.
Peace and contentment this holiday season for all those who are wound so tight they have trouble feeling it. Dear one, take a deep breath, exhale, let all the anger you hold on to flow out of you, and let the joy enter in.
ReplyDeleteI wish for a peaceful and happy Christmas for all my family - wherever they may be :D
ReplyDeleteOne of my wishes is coming true as I write this - rain we are so dry here in Central Texas.
ReplyDeleteThe wish I really want is Peace Worldwide!!
I love this series and your books. I really want to help you and take one off your hands!!
Happy Holidays!

ReplyDeleteI'm wishing for the family to enjoy Christmas day and possibly an engagement announcement from my niece.
ReplyDeleteI wish that everyone gets along at Christmas dinner.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Lynn & family!
ReplyDeleteMy Christmas wish is just to catch up on some sleep and have a relaxing day after two very grueling weeks working in retail in a big department store!
My Christmas wish is to be officially published sooner rather than later. Things keep getting held up and it's depressing. :)
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas everybody!
I read through some of the comments, and hell, I wish for everyone else to get their wishes. I've got stress, but it's the kind of stress that comes from too many people loving each other too much. I can't wouldn't wish that away for the world.
ReplyDeleteMay all those who wish for love find love.
ReplyDeleteFrom love comes so many good things!
Rebecca
