Resurrecting SL

Back in June I mentioned that I had a SF story idea set (sorta) in the StarDoc universe that I've let percolate in my head for the last couple of years. While I still have ten million excellent reasons to never revisit StarDoc in any way shape or form, I want to write this story. No, honestly, I just want to stop thinking about it, and the only way to do that is to get it on the page.

So now that I've finished Ghost Writer the next Just Write story will be:

I haven't written any science fiction since I finished Dream Called Time in October of 2009, so this should be interesting, if not outright entertaining.

  1. Lynn,
That is wonderful! I love the StarDoc universe and have always felt that you could have many stories not related to Cherijo, but still within the same universe. I especially love the e-book "A Diversity of Houses". And the Lunar Marshall stories. I can't wait to read your new one!

  2. I've just finished Ghostwriter and loved it. Brilliant finish. I hope there's more to come from that world. Now I've got sci fi to look forward to. Can't wait to read this one.

  3. Wow... I was just thinking as I typed in the address bar, "I know she loves the ghosting she's doing now, but man, I wish she'd write some more fiction. I miss it."

    You just made my day.

(And as a side note, I was recommending StarDoc to someone yesterday who was telling me they LOVE stories that end in cliffhangers and make them want to read the next book. I also mentioned my literally-threw-the-book-against-the-wall moment, much to their delight. I think SL may have a new fan in the making, lol.)

  6. SQUEE! I can't wait! I love your SF. I love the worlds you created. Heck, my first read of yours was Afterburn, which led me to the StarDoc novels. So good.
