Since I'm reading my own book at the moment (yes, I know, but I'm updating my series bible) this would make me Charmian Kittredge. Who are you? Let us know in comments.
I am either Sevastion Traveler from my own book that is still in progress or Henry David Thoreau (of all people!) since I am also trying to read Walden.
I am Claire Conway from Robin Lee Hatcher's "The Forgiving Hour," which I re-read in order to write my Characters column. I would not want to be her--she just learned her only son is engaged to the same woman her husband had an affair with and caused their marriage to end. *Shudder.*
Andrew Yancy - currently downgraded to food-inspector detective from the Everglades. He is from Carl Hiaasen's latest book "Bad Monkey". I love Hiaasen's wicked humour and weird characters.
I'm kind of lame as well. I'm currently reading an autobio by Tim Conway, but the last thing I've read is what I'm working on, so my male character's name is Jon Morris. Or, or, to be enlightened, I could be my female character Erica Tomas.
Mmm, depends on whether that's the last book I finished reading earlier today or my son's library book that I was reading this evening.
The first is Ben Kincaid from William Bernhardt's Death Row... and the second would be Kantkiss Neverclean, from the Harvard Lampoon's The Hunger Pains.
I'm either Alexia or Connell Maccon as I'm reading the 2nd book in Gail Carriger's Parasol Protectorate - a recommendation from here for which I offer sincere thanks.
Kitty Norville (aka the werewolf named Kitty) from Carrie Vaughn's series. They are great escape reads while I am in the chaos of grad school and I've been reading one right after another lately. I don't really want to be a werewolf, but I do like Kitty's spunk, so I could live with that. :)
I'm finishing Cress so I guess I'm guess, or Cinder...it's really Cress' book but Cinder is the star of the series. Oh well, I'm still happily a Lunar lady.
Geez. We are lame... I'm keelie jessup, heroine in the book I just finished writing. Gotta do that final tidy up.

ReplyDeleteI am Saturday Woodcutter, one of Alethea Kontis's Woodcutter sisters which is vaguely appropriate as I am one of six sisters in a family of nine.
ReplyDeleteI love Saturday!!!
DeleteRay Garraty. (Following a discussion of Stephen King's works, my daughter lent me The Long Walk, which I read in one sitting this morning.)

ReplyDeleteI'm Rosette Tailor, from my fantasy "Feda's Anchor." I just finished my final (I hope) run through.

ReplyDeleteI guess that makes me Mark Bittman. I'm reading VB6 at the moment.
ReplyDeleteHarry Dresden, from Jim Butcher's Dresden Files, which I've just started.

ReplyDeleteI guess I'm Lord John Grey as I'm reading The Lord John Series by Diana Gabaldon.
ReplyDeleteI would also be Kit since the last book I finished was yours! :-) I'm good with that!
