I didn't even come close; 6,000 words or so. Though, that is better than last year's 0. I wish I could have done it but I had to and still am studying for a certification for work to become a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. Maybe I'll win NaNoWriMo 2013...
Yes, thanks so much for letting us see a work in progress. Maybe it'll inspire me to work harder to edit my Nano story.
I finished last week and usually finish a few days early but then rarely edit the darn things. Seventh year in a row to write and win... must edit it one day. Sigh.
I need a lot of time to myself. Lots and lots and lots of it. I need to not have to talk to other people at all for many hours, every day. I need the freedom to write and nap and putter outside, and let the stories arrive. I need space to cook and listen to music, and most of all—read, read, read, read, read. I need a lot of reading time, and it feels like nothing, but it’s everything. -- Barbara O'Neal

Congratulations! I didn't even try it this year. Wrote one short story draft in that period that was a real labor to get on paper.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I didn't NaNo this year, so I've just been rooting from the sidelines. =o)
ReplyDeleteYay! Doing the Happy Dance in my fuzzy sweater and crocs for you!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! :)
ReplyDeleteI am at 36k and will probably not get much further. I'm so pleased though, as last year I got to 28k - this is progress!
Thanks very much for all your support. It's been fun to NaNo with you.
Cheers,
Karen
A few days ago! thrilled to finish for the second year running.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
ReplyDeleteI didn't participate, but just wanted to congratulate for all that hard work :)
Crossed 50k last week, finished the book on Sunday. Yay! to everyone who wrote anything!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Lynn. Have really enjoyed your Nano book.
ReplyDeleteI'm 500 words away. The end is just ahead. Thanks for allowing us to see a work in progress.
