Savannah is now on my list of places to visit if I ever win the lottery and can afford to travel. Obviously not much likelihood of that, but I can dream. Its looks beautiful and tranquil. Thank you for sharing.
Lynn, It looks like you had a beautiful visit to Savannah. When my husband worked at Hunter Army/Air Field in Savannah, I loved to visit him. Seeing your dog photo reminded me that I even took our Great Dane with me on one trip and was surprised at how dog friendly the stores are in Savannah. Shopkeepers had no problem inviting me into the store with Diana (who is a small Dane, only 110 pounds!) on the leash with me. She is a perfect lady and loved all the attention! Tami Jacksonville
Welcome home! And you made me miss Savannah. I've only been once and I was passing through at that, but always thought it was a place I could be utterly happy in. Thanks for the lovely pictures.
I need a lot of time to myself. Lots and lots and lots of it. I need to not have to talk to other people at all for many hours, every day. I need the freedom to write and nap and putter outside, and let the stories arrive. I need space to cook and listen to music, and most of all—read, read, read, read, read. I need a lot of reading time, and it feels like nothing, but it’s everything. -- Barbara O'Neal
