He misses the talks he had with her. So it's a CD for him this year, because he listens to music a lot right now.

My brother has no time for reading, but my 14 year old nephew will get a book. I'm just not sure what. He reads stuff like Harry Potter and Otori saga, but also Ivanhoe and Quentin Durward. I thought about His Dark Materials, but I think it's too slow for his taste. Unfortunatley, most of Rosemary Sutcliff's books are out of print in German translation. Well, maybe I'll get him an "adult" one, some nice, fast paced adventure thingie like Simon Scarrow's Eagle books (which are avaliable in German).Gabriele Campbellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17205770868139083575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8343238.post-1133970431120376572005-12-07T10:47:00.000-05:002005-12-07T10:47:00.000-05:00My dad is getting a Garrison Keillor book.My boyfr...My dad is getting a Garrison Keillor book.

My boyfriend is getting a bunch of martial arts books and an anatomy book (the better to hit the appropriate pressure point/joint - so fun for me).

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can finish off my Dorothy L.
