It doesn't help that I'm a Brit, but I ended up with Birmingham (Alabama I think?), a place called Yonkers (love it!) and the big apple itself, New York. Of course there are always a couple of ambiguous questions, like the long sandwich. To me a "sandwich" implies filling between 2 slices of bread, but filling in a soft bun would be a roll, or in crusty bread would be a baguette.
