They write very smoothly, fit nicely in my hand, and go for under $30.

I bought a clear one (you can see all the innards) on sale at fountainpenhospital.com. It was $21. They are now sending me catalogs and calendars filled with multi-thousand dollar pens. I have to laugh.

I did splurge and buy some Noodler's Ink when I bought my pen, and I'm glad I did. It comes in lovely and unusual colors. Nightshade is a purplish black, and I also got Red-Black, wonderful for mystery stories. They are perfectly readable, just a bit different. Some of the colors are designed to be a solid with a contrasting border color. Others are recreations of Civil War and other historical inks.

Must not just randomly buy ink! Must use up inks already own!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8343238.post-1134420117730726912005-12-12T15:41:00.000-05:002005-12-12T15:41:00.000-05:00Hi!Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know ...Hi!

Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know I got my books from the Hallowe'en contest. Between mail to Canada and our seeming inability to walk half a block to get the mail, it took some time.

I'm looking forward to settling in with them over the holiday!

Thanks again,

GarnigalAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8343238.post-1134419724857593122005-12-12T15:35:00.000-05:002005-12-12T15:35:00.000-05:00Thanks for the links. He loses his briefs when the heat from one's fingers warms the, ahem, barrel. (There was no way to say that without innuendo.
